At Beach Road Child Care we believe the selection of our caring team is of critical importance. The criteria used to select team members focuses on their formal educational qualifications, experience in child care, confidence, maturity, ability to relate to small children, enthusiasm, interactive skills, ability to work as a team member and also to possess a supportive and caring nature.
All team members employed in the centre have undergone a criminal history check and are required to hold a current Blue Card. A Blue Card is a government issued card that shows that a team member is approved to work with children.
Our Educators pride themselves in providing a high quality care environment and showing a genuine interest in children’s development, needs and interest.
We encourage healthy eating and only the best nutrition for all children. We're a member of the Food Foundations organisation through Queensland Health. As we don’t provide meals we do however encourage healthy meals and snacks while in care.
We are a “Sunsmart” centre which means we take sun protection seriously. We encourage legionnaires hat or broad rimmed hats to be worn whenever children are outside.
